I thought I’d just do a quick Facebook tip. This is for Facebook Groups and if you are looking to be added to a Group, then it’s very helpful to have details on your profile, about who you are, what you do and where you are from.
There are so many people that we look to add to The Inspire Network, over 100, and because we are very location-based, it’s helpful to know where people are living or working, if they run their own business, things like that.
It’s also helpful if someone is looking to get in touch with you, or remember if you’re the person who does X, Y and Z, to know if you are actually that person.
So the easiest and quickest way to do this is on Desktop, if you go to the ‘Update Info’ button on your Profile, you can add a Workplace here, you can see I’ve got my business here, Blueocto.
And, you can add places that you live or maybe work, so that you might be from another country or another region, but you actually now living in, wherever you are now. Maybe you want to add some basic contact information as well.
You can control how this is viewed in your Privacy Settings, but that should be it, so really if you go to your own profile, it should show up on the left-hand side, and this just makes it much easier for people looking to either contact you or add you to a group.
